      • So very beautiful! I remember as if it were yesterday – the very first time I saw an ariel view of the Appalachian mountains flying in from NYC to the Tricities airport as a fourteen-year old in late October. It was totally magical! It is equally vibrant in the summer as you well know. Thanks for sharing the lovely pictures; I hope and trust you will continue to enjoy your time there. I used to live in Bristol, “A Good Place to Live” Tennessee, birthplace of country music, and literally in two states — Main Street divided the city into Bristol, TN and Bristol, VA. Later, I moved down the road to Jefferson City in Jefferson County, not too far from the Smokies.
